Hello again dear lovely people! It’s been some time since I stepped by to write something about my life and what’s going on. I am so sorry for being absent so much lately. University is killing my time off, so there will be no change for some time being during the next weeks but as soon as my exams are over I’ll write as much as I can to update you guys. But right now I’ll use some time (hah!) and tell you about my Illumicrate Unboxing.
The picture on top is showing one of the included items of the box: A scarf which is inspired by Mulan. I love the movie so much which is why I kind of really like the motive of the scarf. As I first discovered the scarf I was kind of skeptical whether I will be found of it at all. But after a few days passed and during the photo session I happened to like the pretty picture plus the material of the scarf.
The necklace is really cute though I am not wearing any jewellery I really like the artwork on it. It is inspired by Throne of Glass! Which is another reason to love it even more.
I have to admit that I have never read any book written by Marie Lu. I know, I know! Shame on me! But there are a few waiting on my bookshelf, so as soon as I have some free time I will start with a few stories, deal? The bookmark is one of my most favorite items of the box. The design is soo pretty, isn’t it? It fits perfectly to her book Warcross. It is designed by Chatty Nora.
The Circus Top Banner is one of my least favorite items though it sure does look kind of pretty. I have no idea what I will do with it. Any ideas? It is inspired by The Night Circus and Caraval.
I started my subscription of the Illumicrate book boxes as I found out that they happen to include two books in one box. Finally! I didn’t have as much luck lately but the last box of the year did a good surprise on me. The first book has black sprayed edges and a signed bookplate. The book is called Empress of all Seasons by Emiko Jean.
The second book is a paperback which is called Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce. I am very excited to get to know this story. The best part about book boxes is the not-knowing-section where you still don’t know what to expect and what books might be in it and get surprised by the very different items and books included.
I completely forgot to take a photo of the Diner Drink Cosy which is inspired by To All the Boys I Loved Before. It is on the pictures with the entire unpacking on it.
